You folks still watch tape??? We finally broke down and purchased an HD (High Definition 1080p) TiVo Series Three. Only $179.00 at Blockbuster video. We also purchased the Lifetime Subscription ($299.00) with promo code “PLSR”. Add another $38.99 for the Three Year Extended Warranty — and our total cost was around $500 for a DVR that basically wipes your butt for you!
For example, on Tuesday night, the TiVo recorded BOTH the Olympics AND the Girls Night of AI at the same time — meanwhile we were watching NCIS Los Angeles, on the same TV.
As for my predictions:
Tim Urban & Haeley Vaughan are both “safe” thanks to VFTW picks.

Girls: Lacey Brown for sure…..too close to call the other one.
Boys: Jermaine and Tyler

Ashley Rodriguez was widely predicted to be Top 12 finalist.
Joe Muñoz was a surprise because he was so adorable, thought he had more of the tween vote.
Janell was not that bad, she should have stayed instead of Lacey!

And yes, we’re still using a VCR. I think it might have belonged to the Flintstones. But we don’t watch a whole lot of TV other than Idol, the Office, and Amazing Race. So we don’t really need TiVo. Yet
The guys are going first tonight, to allow Crystal an extra 24 hours to recover from her diabetic episode. Apparently she isn’t able to perform tonight and the producers decided to switch nights, which obviously is NOT going to help any of the guys.
Now the dirt is coming out about Todrick Hall — google the words “Oz The Musical + Todrick Hall” and you’ll see all of the scams he’s pulled on hapless parents and children.
The guy is being sued left and right — he’s going to fade into oblivion once the public gets wind of this story.
Finally, it turns out that Casey James is an ex-convict, serving two county jail terms of 30 and 60 days for drunken & reckless driving.
